Nurses & assistants from Med Florida Medical Center have been involved in testing for COVID-19 and taking care of those who need them the most. But on Wednesday they took time to sing and dance, and show their love for those who've been isolated at the Ahepa 18 Apartments in West Palm Beach.

"That's amazing," says singer and Patient Service Representative Rey El Vikingo when he saw the smiles on the faces of the residents. "I love the people who live here, that's why I'm back here (doing this) because I love it."

"As a service coordinator here I got to see them every single day," says Yania Aday Rodriguez. "And I haven't seen them for a few weeks now, so (this concert) is emotional for me."

Besides trying to avoid COVID-19, the medical representative say they did this to try to avoid what could be another big problem.

"Most of the residents (could be) falling into a depression," says Yuvy Rodriguez. "That's why we are here. We don't want them to be depressed. Depression can kill them. We want to be here everytime that they need us.

Med Florida also has a non-profit charity and will also deliver food to the residents over the next few days, hoping to keep them healthy and loved through the COVID-19 crisis.

"I'm so excited to be here for them," adds Yuvy.
